Christi Lao is a professional musician and a gifted music teacher. She was born and raised in a Southern California household where singing and dancing was a daily essential. Christi has always had a passion for music. Like her father, she was a self-taught guitarist and eventually entered a Jazz Applied Program once she embraced music as her life path. When she isn’t performing on stage with She Sings She Swings, Five & Dime from Disney California Adventure Park and other brilliant musicians, Christi loves to spend her time teaching.

Christ has 7 years of teaching experience, and she’s taught a wide variety of students of various ages ranging from 3 years old to 70.  She has a knack for helping her students understand how to play on their own terms. Christi is energized by teaching guitar, ukulele, piano, and voice. Christi loves enriching lives with the beauty and complexities of music.
