I’m excited to get you on drums for this song.  It will be fine to just have you playing a basic rock beat subdividing with 8th notes (not 16th) on the hihat.  The challenge for you is to build up your stamina so you can last the whole song without slowing down. That will require A LOT of at home practice.  I want you playing this song all the way through every day to build that stamina.

The Trooper:

We are giving you a NEW harmony line for the main riff.  The real harmony is this lower one.  It’s not too hard but will take practice.  Let me know if you have questions for me.
