Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Syreeta Neal is a 3rd generation blues singer and songwriter. Syreeta loves helping people discover who they are as musical artists. She combines this encouraging approach with her 20 plus years of experience studying music and touring the world as a professional singer.

In addition to her performance experience, Syreeta holds a specialist certification in vocal jazz, R&B and pop/rock from Berklee College of Music, and she performs frequently both as a solo artist and a member of the Neal Family Blues Band. With a background as an Orff Schulwerk-trained elementary music teacher, Syreeta brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the music classroom, making her a dynamic educator and mentor to students of every age. While she is primarily a voice specialist, Syreeta also enjoys working with beginner musicians interested in learning guitar, ukulele and piano.
