Syreeta Neal

Testimonials, Bios and More:
Voice | Ukulele | Guitar | Piano
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Syreeta Neal is a Los Angeles based, 3rd generation blues
singer, songwriter and voice teacher. As an instructor, Syreeta truly enjoys helping people discover who they are as vocalists,
performers, artists and storytellers. In Syreeta’s words, “Even the most inexperienced singer
has a certain something that makes their voice special. My job is to help them find and explore
that part of themselves.”
She combines this encouraging approach with her 20 plus years of experience studying the
voice and touring the world as a professional singer. In addition to her performance background
and deep family roots in blues and soul music, Syreeta also holds a specialist certification in
vocal jazz, R&B and pop/rock from Berklee College of Music and she performs frequently both
as a solo artist and a member of the Neal Family Blues Band.
With a background as an Orff Schulwerk trained elementary music teacher, Syreeta brings a
wealth of knowledge and skills to the music studio, making her a dynamic educator and mentor
to students of every age.
While she is primarily a voice specialist, Syreeta also enjoys working with beginner musicians
interested in learning guitar, ukulele and piano.
