Rachel Mazer is an accomplished singer, songwriter, internationally touring multi-instrumentalist, & music teacher. Originally from the SF Bay Area, she was the first jazz performance recipient of the prestigious Maddy Award at Interlochen Center for the Arts & received her BFA in Jazz Performance at University of Michigan. Rachel went on to perform or record with many artists & bands including Alessia Cara at the People’s Choice Awards, Vulfpeck, the Steve Miller Band, Monica Martin (Phox), Woman Believer, Anna Ash, Julian Allen, & many others. In 2019, Rachel released her debut pop-soul album ‘How Do We Get By’ which received attention from magazines such as Paste, American Songwriter, & Pop Matters as well as placements in Spotify’s Mellow Morning & Ready for the Day Playlists. Rachel uses her skills as an accomplished vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, & recording artist to build a well-rounded music education for her students. She’s known for her friendly manner & her fun & engaging teacher style!
