Emily Dietz is a singer-songwriter and pianist who was born and raised in Hermosa Beach. She has been professionally singing around Los Angeles for years, providing both live and recorded vocals for artists such as Pentatonix, Kelly Clarkson, Trousdale, and more. An alum of Coast Music herself, Emily began taking voice and piano lessons at the age of 13, immersing herself in both private instruction and group ensembles such as jam band and vocal jazz group m6.

Emily has received a number of accolades including two YoungArts Honorable Mentions, an Outstanding Soloist award at the 2017 Los Angeles Festival of A Cappella, and numerous CARA award nominations.  She was a member of the internationally acclaimed high school a cappella group Legacy as well as the 5x ICCA winning SoCal VoCals at USC. Additionally, Emily has had the privilege of performing on some of the world’s great stages including the Hollywood Bowl and Carnegie Hall.

Emily recently graduated from the USC Thornton School of Music with Bachelor’s degrees in Jazz Music and Psychology. While Emily is primarily a jazz and R&B vocalist, she has vast experience in many genres including pop, musical theater, country, folk, and rock. Emily hopes to remind people of their love for music with every lesson through the fostering of authenticity, curiosity, and most importantly, fun!
