Colton Russell started playing guitar at age 6 and discovered bass at age 10. He has played music professionally for 7 years. He is a graduate of Pepperdine University, and he’s performed with a variety of well-known artists including David Benoit,  Brian McKnight, Hiroshima, Clayton Cameron, Oleta Adams and many more.

While his musical styles and roles in the industry have grown and expanded, his main focus has always been
to facilitate cohesion and create room for creativity to flow, both in collaboration and teaching. Colton is thrilled to be a part of Coast Music’s esteemed guitar and bass staff!
