Coast Music Jazz Camps

One of Coast Music’s most popular summer jazz programs, designed for students looking to make rapid musical growth. This jazz intensive immerses participants in daily sectional rehearsals, jazz workshops, masterclasses, and jam sessions that build technique, improvisation skills, and ensemble performance.

Students spend the week playing, collaborating, and learning from experienced jazz instructors, culminating in a live jazz performance for family and friends at a professional jazz venue on Friday, July 3, from 6:00–7:30 PM.

An audition or Coast Music faculty recommendation is required in order to participate in this Jazz Intensive program. Please contact us or call to schedule an audition appointment (in-person or zoom).

See how our students thrive at Coast Music. From piano and guitar to vocals and drums, our lessons help students grow, perform, and discover their love of music.

I’ve been to Coast Music band and student showcases in the South Bay for several years, and I am consistently blown away by the talent of these students! It’s incredible to see how confidently they perform and how much fun they are having, and that’s largely because of positive environment the music teaching staff creates. Rock on Coast, keep up the great work with these musicians!

My 8 year old daughter went to camp at Coast Music this summer and loved it! She wasn't very familiar with most instruments but the classes taught her and her band 3 of their favorite songs and they performed so beautifully! We brought friends and family to the show and everyone was blown away. We're starting keys next week! What a positive and warm experience!
