Maxwell Rohde

Maxwell Rohde is a multi-instrumentalist who began his musical studies on piano. He discovered the bass at age 11 and never looked back. He completed his studies as a Jazz Bass Major at the University of North Texas under the guidance of Lynn Seaton.  Max plays double bass, electric bass, guitar, ukulele, piano, and he beatboxes and sings.

Max is a Spotlight Awards Finalist and Promise Award Winner, and he is a Young Arts Jazz Winner (Merit and Honorable Mention). Maxwell is a versatile musician who has studied classical, jazz and a variety of pop styles. He has played at world-renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Staples Center.

Max is an inspiring teacher who knows how to make learning fun!
