Julia Vazquez

Julia Vazquez is multi-instrument musician who has been studying orchestral music for 16 years. Julia has been a Violist for La Jolla Symphony and Chorus for 4 years while attending UC San Diego and is a member of the World Doctors Orchestra. These esteemed orchestras have taken her on tour in the Philippines and Germany to help raise money for charities advocating for children's health and perform orchestral works spanning Shostakovich to Bach. She has also been assistant principal violist of the GRAMMY Award winning Mira Costa High School Orchestras. With this ensemble she has traveled on tour in Spain, performed at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and played in a pit orchestra for the musical production of Into the Woods.

Julia currently teaches Viola, Violin, and Cello and wants to inspire more young musicians to continue playing music.
