For Should I stay or Should I go, make sure to count in between each of your lines.  Ba ba ba bum bum ba wait wait wait wait.

James

For Should I Stay, your second note is just on the B string.  So your first is barring bot strings, and the second is only the B string.

For the raked scrape in the intro, try not to include the 5th and 6th string (A and Low E)

Landon

For “Riptide” On the second chorus, if you notice on the video the kick and floor Tom are almost creating a flam effect.  That makes it sound even bigger!  Because this song isn’t incredibly dynamic, we have to create a much bigger dynamic range anyway we can- especially on the drums

For  Should I Stay, you alternate between singing and playing on the verses.  For the choruses, just worry about singing with crazy amounts of attitude and conviction, and let the rest of us cover the bass.
