Song List:

Good 4 U – Olivia Rodrigo

Silent Treatment – Freya Skye

Ordinary – Alex Warren

Feel Good Inc. – Gorillas

We are performing Ordinary in the new key of A which is 7 half steps UP from the original.  It is vital that your student use this track to rehearse both at-home and in their private lessons:

.

We are playing Silent Treatment down a half step.  Please use the following transposed track in your private lessons and during your at-home practice:

.

Gracie

Make sure to count on your chorus for “ordinary”  Your passing notes are all on beat 4.

Jack

“Ordinary” is a crazy challenge.   Before worrying at all about the hi-hat, make sure your are dead on with the floor tom and the snare during the chorus.  If you can, try to do the 16th notes on the tom with one hand.

James

For ordinary, make sure you are counting, or those changes might blow right by.  In the verse you play each double stop 6 times before the little lick.

Skyla

Ordinary PDF

Definitely spend some time listening to the transposed track, even try to sing along to familiarize yourself with “Ordinary”

Myles

What we didn’t mention on the video for “Ordinary” is that the first note of every group should be played with more weight than the others.  It’ll give it something of a “pushing” feel
