Samuel Reid is a pianist, keyboardist, composer, and arranger from Houston, Tx. He completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees at USC Thornton in Jazz Studies. While completing his Masters, he was awarded a Teacher Assistantshipunder Jason Goldman and Alan Pasqua. While completing his degree, he taught classes, tutored students, and, most importantly, practiced real-world application.

Over his career, he’s shared stages with Bob Mintzer, Chris Dave, Theo Crocker, and International Jazz Ambassador Lisa Henry. As a teacher, Samuel desires to provide a safe space for each student. A space where both teacher and student can express their lesson goals.
