Hailed by The New York Times as a “particularly agile” vocalist, Tyler Azelton has played piano and sung in every genre for over 3 decades. She has performed globally from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Festival of Lights in Bulgaria. In addition to teaching private lessons and performing, Tyler has sung on 9 movie soundtracks and was on The Voice. She sang for 9 years with the Los Angeles Master Chorale and performed under Gustavo Dudamel at the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Philharmonic. Tyler also released her debut album with her rock band in 2008. Currently she sings with a Renaissance group, a contemporary group, and occasionally, local opera companies. The truth is that teaching gives Tyler more pleasure than anything else, and she is excited to work with any student looking to hone their skills!
