Songwriting Workshop (ages 14-adult)

We are so happy to announce this summer’s afternoon songwriting program! Songwriters will get the opportunity to work on the following throughout the week:
  • Melodic writing
  • Lyric writing
  • Harmonization
  • Chart writing
  • Music notation
  • Song delivery
  • So much more!
There will be a presentation/performance for family and friend on Friday, August 4th at 5pm. Some participants from this program will record their songs the following week during our Music Production Workshop summer program.

Required Materials: None

Opitional Materials: A Notebook and any instrument you wish to bring. We have many available for use at Coast Music. Please check with us if you’d like to use one of our instrunents in studio. Feel free to bring a laptop or tablet if you prefer typing lyrics and/or using music notation software.

Session Dates: Monday – Friday, July 31st – August 4th

Hours: 1:00pm – 6:00pm

Tuition Per Session: $650

*Multi-Camp Price: $552.50

*We offer a 15% multi-camp discount for additional enrollments. The first program is full price. After your first enrollment, you will receive a 15% discount for all additional enrollments. This discount is unlimited per family, so you can use the discount for siblings or for the same participant in another program.

Out of Town Participants

(Ages 12 and up)

If you live out of town and seek housing, you may be interested in our host family program. We have a short list of trusted families who look forward to hosting our summer program participants. Host families provide a private room (or shared room with another approved participant), housing, breakfast and dinner. The nightly fee is $200/night. All families and participants will meet over zoom before the arrangement is approved. Please fill out the form at the bottom of this page if you are interested in placement with a host family.
